Some people do. Hyaluronic acid filler and PRP are injected into the face and, therefore, you may experience mild redness, bruising and/or swelling. It is best to expect the worst and allow yourself time before important events, photos, etc. Swelling resolves in 24-48 hours but a bruise can last up to 2 weeks for some people. It is best to avoid strenuous workouts for 48 hours after procedure to minimize bruising and swelling.
