If you have more than three of these symptoms you may have adrenal fatigue. Adrenal fatigue or hypoadrenia is a decrease in function of the adrenal glands due to excessive physical, emotional, environmental and/or physiological stress. These stressors can lead to a decrease in the amount of adrenal hormones, most notably Cortisol.

Traditional medicine only recognizes the extreme low of hypoadrenia, known as Addison's disease, which is a lack of corticosteroid production within the adrenals and is a life threatening condition, if untreated.

Studies show that patients with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome or Fibromyalgia often have adrenal fatigue. At Forward Health Solutions, we understand how difficult it is to cope with these symptoms and we work with you to help ease or reduce their effects.
